Minchee Home

This home page is getting a bit crowded, so I'm adding a separate page of links here.

AROUND HONG KONG 1

I was in Sham Shui Po a while back and decided to snap a few shots. Hope you enjoy them.

AROUND HONG KONG 2

May 24th, 2007, was a holiday here in Hong Kong, so my son and I went for a bus ride to the old Kowloon City Ferry Pier in To Kwa Wan. Pics have been uploaded to webshots. Hope you enjoy them.

AROUND HONG KONG 3

The New Zealand ladies - the Black Sticks - were in Hong Kong the last week of August 2007 for a few exhibition matches and I went along to one of their games with my boy, Curtis. I had my camera with me and took a few shots as we went through the back streets of Yau Ma Tei and Jordan. Hope you enjoy them.

PICS (when we were younger)

Our thanks to all those who have contributed pictures to the site. It's been so overwhelming that we've run out of space here, so we've moved the main set of pics to the Webshots community, where you can still see the comments. The baby pics and those from "Where Are They Now" are still here on-site with a link back to this homepage.

If you have any you'd like to share, please send them as attachments to webmaster at minchee.com.

PICS (when we were really young)

There are those among us who feared we may not have had enough to talk about when we got together for More Minchee, so they contributed a few items for discussion.

Pics of Hong Kong from the 70s

Our thanks to Mark Reis for letting us know about this page that features comparison pics of Hong Kong 1970 and 2005 (December 28th, 2005). And your webmaster stumbled upon a site showing pics of KGV around the mid-70s. When you manage to tear yourself away from your trip down memory lane, click on "View Guest Book" on the left to see what other former KGV'ers wrote.

RECREIO

By the way, you all remember Club de Recreio, right?

In case you didn't realize, it has a regularly-updated monthly hockey newsletter.
~~~~~~~~~~
SCHOOL SONGS
In response to the LaSalle school song, Maryknoll would like us to remember theirs.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW
Thanks to Virginia for helping us locate Gino Reyes (June 4th, 2005). Does anyone have a contact for his brother Tony? If so, please let us know, or ask him to contact us.
Rob Reis has been trying to get in touch with Ted Castro and Tony Gomes, Francis's brother (June 6th, 2005). Well, Ted dropped us a line and we now have his address online.
And we hope Chris Reis has gotten hold of Arnaldo Xavier, whose comments can be found on the Minchee Comments page.
If you have info about someone, please send it along and we'll add it here.
